The Banquet

I have no idea how to rate this opera-movie. Some parts of the show I like, like the colour and imagery and plot of the show, but others, like the pace, leaves much to be desired. In any case, I do not agree that it warrants a 4.5/5 rating from 8 Days. Too overrated.

So someone dies in the end in a symbolic murder with no murderer around (you'll know why). I suggested that the enunch did it. Haha. Kai Yuan suggested that the poisonseller did it. Wahahaha.

I don't know, but this film gives me the feeling that the director is trying too hard to be artistic, but using songs, dances and spilling blood does not win me over...But the part where the Imperial Guards committed suicide in a synchronized manner is cool...I always believed suicide is very disorderly :X
